I've spent the better part of my life immersed in nature. I've cleaned millions of pounds of trash from the environment, raised free-range animals, and lived in the deepest jungles. All these experiences — every mile hiked and every trail explored — have prepared me for Wana Village.

The urgency of this mission is something I've seen firsthand. After living in Bali for the last five years, I've witnessed a world-class deforestation. In the last 20 years, 30% of the jungle in Bali has been lost. Governments and conservation groups are trying, but their efforts are often too slow and underfunded. That's where we come in. By uniting nature lovers globally to fund profitable retreats in the most beautiful, untouched places, we create a powerful incentive to protect this nature for generations.
Deforestation is a one-way door. Once it's gone, it's gone. You can re-plant trees, but the complex relationships between plants, animals, and the land can never be replaced. Hundreds of future National Parks around the world are already zoned for demolition. But we can turn the tide. If you are reading this now, you have been gifted with the same responsibility I feel every day: to protect our ancient land.
